MADEIRA (23-1) vs. FINNEYTOWN (18-6)

Starting Lineups: Madeira: Todd Schlensker (20.5 ppg), Josh Cohen (7.9 ppg), Jon Dinsmore (10 ppg), Nate Parkhouse (8.7 ppg), Jon Newberry (4.6 ppg, 6 apg). Finneytown: Phil Sweet (11.4 ppg), Jason Gardner (16.9 ppg), Bob Meitrott (4.5 ppg), Lionel Calhoun (8.9 ppg), Paul Thompson (14.1 ppg).
What to expect: Madeira is relentless on offense, averaging nearly 80 points a game.
The one-two offensive punch of Todd Schlensker and Ken Fields are Madeira's major weapons.
Finneytown counters with the ouside shooting of Jason Gardner, the pentetration by guard Phil Sweet and the inside play of center Paul Thompson.
The key for Finneytown is on the inside while Madeira must force the tempo and rely on depth.
MCNICHOLAS (20-5) vs. KETTERING ALTER (18-6)
What: Division II
Where: University of Dayton Arena
When: 3 p.m. today
Admission: $5
Starting lineups: McNicholas: Ryan Ogletree (14 ppg), Brad Cupito (12.5 ppg ), Zach Schmidt (6.6 ppg), Jim Moore (7 ppg), Ryan Caldwell (13 ppg). Alter: Mark Borland (6.5 ppg), Adam Berardo (8.8 ppg), John Staub (8.5 ppg), Keith Waleskowski (18.6 ppg, 11.2 rpg), Chris Goings (6.5 ppg)
What to expect: Beating a team three times during a season is a tough task and that's what McNicholas must do to earn a berth in the state semifinals.
With Alter 6-foot-8 sophomore Adam Waleskowski (suspension) out of the lineup, McNicholas will have the advantage on the inside with Ryan Caldwell, Jim Moore and Zach Schmidt.
Point guard Brad Cupito, the MVP in the Greater Catholic League North Division, is the key player on the perimeter for McNicholas along with Ryan Ogletree, a lightning quick guard who is also a good three-point shooter.
MOELLER (18-6) vs. BEAVERCREEK (25-0)
What: Division I
Where: University of Dayton Arena
When: 7:30 p.m. today
Admission: Tickets will be on sale at the Moeller bookstore from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Tickets can also be purchased at the Arena. All seats are $5.
Starting lineups Moeller: Mike Monserez (20 ppg), Chris Welsch (8 ppg), Brad Hutzel (11.5 ppg), Jeremy Duncan (10 ppg), Matt Sylvester (11.5 ppg). Beavercreek: Jamie Holden (10.2 ppg), Ted Williams (19.3 ppg), Jeremy Renner (11.2 ppg), Kyle Williams (6 ppg), Brad Smith (7 ppg).
What to expect: Offensive execution. Both teams shot the ball extremely well in their regional semifinal victories, with Beavercreek hitting 55 percent against Withrow and Moeller an outrageous 63 percent against Troy.
Beavercreek is generally more reliant on its backcourt of Ted Williams and Jamie Holden. Moeller's Mike Monserez is dangerous as a scorer and distributor and he'll look to create open three-point shots for Chris Welsch, who was 4-for-4 against Troy.
The Beavers rely on an aggressive matchup zone defense and look for fast-break opportunities for easy points on offense. Moeller wouldn't mind a game played in the open court. If Moeller shows the offensive patience that made it so effective against Troy and slows down Beavercreek's guards, the Crusaders could be on their way to their first appearance in the state Final Four.
