2 banks robbed in Ohio, Indiana
A man wearing a black jacket, black pants and dark sunglasses robbed the PNC Bank at 7435 Kenwood Road in Sycamore Township on Tuesday morning.
Police said the man did not show a gun.
The Hamilton County sheriff's department is investigating.
In Lawrenceburg, Ind., a robber entered the American State Bank at 1 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money from a teller. He, too, did not show a gun. Police said he was wearing a light blue ball cap, a beige T-shirt and gray pants.
He was last seen traveling eastbound on U.S. 50 in a dark gray four-door Oldsmobile with an Ohio license plate.
That robbery is being investigated by Lawrenceburg police, the FBI, Indiana State Police and the Greendale police.
W. Clermont bus drivers may strike
West Clermont County school bus drivers could strike as soon as today after a 56-20 vote on Tuesday to reject the latest contract from Laidlaw Transit.
Linda Bloom, a bus driver for 11 years and a union steward, said the contract offered by Laidlaw failed to meet the drivers' demands for salary, health insurance and duration of contract. There were 78 drivers at the meeting Tuesday; two did not vote.
Laidlaw representatives were unavailable for comment Tuesday night.
A strike would affect almost 10,000 students in 12 schools, including Glen Este and Amelia high schools. The 87 West Clermont drivers, represented by Teamsters Local 100, have been without a contract since July 31.
West Clermont has for the past five years contracted with Laidlaw, which provides transportation for districts throughout Greater Cincinnati, including Loveland, Madeira, Batavia and Clermont Northeastern.

Two armed men robbed the Lounge, 7740 Beechmont Ave., Anderson Township, about 1:50 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said the men entered the bar, pulled a handgun and demanded money from the bartender. They fled through a back door.
Police described one of the men as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 165 pounds. The other was about 6 feet tall and about 235 pounds. Both were white.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department is in vestigating.

The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority is sponsoring a seminar on family dynamics Thursday in English Woods.
The program is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Marquette Manor, 1999 Sutter Ave. Topics include parenting, information on child neglect and abuse, domestic violence, self-esteem, the parental responsibility law and tenant information.
Several groups including police and social service agencies developed the seminar to help residents handle family situations.
Alert issued for Hamilton man, 30
HAMILTON Police on Tuesday were investigating the disappearance of Jason Slinker, 30.
Officers said he was last seen on High Street near the Labor Ready Temporary Service office on Jan. 25.
He seemed somewhat disoriented at the time, said Officer Dave Crawford.
He is white, 5 feet 7 inches and weighs 170 pounds. Anyone who sees Mr. Slinker should call police at 868-5811.
$7 million awarded for highway site
A Hamilton County jury Tuesday awarded Crosset Co. $7 million for its 91/4 acres needed to make room for Fort Washington Way ramps.
The $7 million is nearly half of what an appraiser for the Crosset Co. estimated.
The appraiser for the produce distributor said the riverfront property at the northwest corner of Pete Rose Way and Central Avenue was worth $13.6 million. But when two Cincinnati appraisers studied the property, across from the future Paul Brown Stadium, one said it was worth $3 million and the other $6 million.
Jurors in Common Pleas Judge Patrick Dinkelacker's courtroom deliberated for about an hour.
"Most Wanted' arrests at 688
Another Tristate's Most Wanted suspect has been arrested, bringing the total to 688 removed from the list out of the 1,092 featured in The Cincinnati Enquirer.
John Vickers, 37, of Mount Washington was arrested on a felony probation violation charge.
The Enquirer publishes Tristate's Most Wanted each Monday. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Callers to 352-3040 can remain anonymous.
