CINCINNATI BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP
        Lebanon improved to 16-1 after beating host Lemon Monroe 79-46 Saturday.

CINCINNATI GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP
        Nancy Bowden and Kyra Gross each posted double-doubles as Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy defeated Summit Country Day 59-20 Saturday to finish the regular season with a 20-0 record.

N.KY. BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP
        Holy Cross erased a three-point halftime deficit to beat Harrison County 51-45.

N.KY. GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP
        Kynley Hobbs and Andrea Arlinghaus each sank a pair of free throws during the final 1:30 to help Beechwood to a 48-42 win over Bellevue.

        St. Xavier coach Scott Martin says his sinewy 6-foot-9 senior, Joel Cornette, has improved each of the last four games. After his performance Friday night, Cornette is going to be hard-pressed to make it five in a row.

HIGHLANDS 64, SIMON KENTON 55
        Derek Smith saw a reporter leaving the locker room and called out, “So who's the new No.1?”

CINCINNATI BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP
        Paul McMillan came through with a career night for the Aiken boys basketball team in a 77-71 double overtime victory over the Woodward Bulldogs.

N.KY. BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP
        Senior Pete Greene scored 11 points in the fourth quarter as Newport, ranked No.5 in The Enquirer's Northern Kentucky coaches poll, overcame a nine-point second-half deficit to upset No. 2 Holmes, 68-65.
