GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan - The Cincinnati Cyclones extended their unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1) in a 4-3 shootout win at Grand Rapids on Tuesday night.
The victory moves the Cyclones to seven games above .500 (18-11-3) for the first time this season.
In the shootout, Cyclones center Todd Simon and Jeff Shevalier scored, while Jani Hurme stopped all four shots.
The Cyclones have played in 12 shootout games, tops in the IHL and their nine victories in the extra session are the most in the league as well.
