AUSTIN, Texas - Greg Dulli, lead singer of the alternative rock band Afghan Whigs, got into a brawl outside a nightclub that sent him to the hospital.

No arrests were made in the fight outside Liberty Lunch early Saturday. Mr. Dulli was listed in good condition at Brackenridge Hospital.

"It sounds like it had started earlier in the evening," said Sally Muir, a police spokeswoman. "It wasn't just someone attacking him out of the blue."

The Cincinnati-based band was scheduled to perform at Deep Ellum Live in Dallas on Saturday night, but the show was canceled.
