COVINGTON -- Northern Kentucky lawyer Wm. T. "Bill" Robinson III will receive the American Jewish Committee's Judge Learned Hand Human Relations Award at a reception and dinner Wednesday. This will mark the first time the award, which honors individuals whose achievements mirror the principles and tradition associated with Judge Hand, will be presented in Cincinnati.

"This was really a surprise," Mr. Robinson, managing member of the Northern Kentucky office of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC, said Monday. "It's quite an honor. I really can't express my appreciation." AJC Cincinnati chapter spokeswoman Barbara Glueck said Mr. Robinson was the choice of many people on the committee's board. Keynote speaker for the event, at the Omni Netherland Plaza Hall of Mirrors, is American Bar Association President Jerome J. Shestack.

Mr. Robinson founded Tri-County Economic Development Corp.
