More millions for UC village
The University of Cincinnati has received five gifts totaling $5.5 million for the construction of the $80.3-million Richard E. Lindner Varsity Village, the school said Thursday.
John Hermanies, a former member of the university's board of trustees, donated $1.5 million.
Priscilla Garrison Haffner, Martha Garrison Anness and Sally Garrison Skidmore, each gave $1 million to honor their late father, Stuart R. Garrison.
Another $1 million has been donated from a trust formed by the late George Smith, former UC basketball coach and athletic director, and his late wife, Helen.
