UC's Stokes joins dunk competition



University of Cincinnati senior Leonard Stokes will compete in the Mountain Dew Annual Slam Dunk and Three-Point Championships at the Final Four.

Stokes, 6-6, will participate in the slam dunk competition, which will take place today at the Alario Center in suburban New Orleans. ESPN will televise the event 3-5 p.m. Saturday.

Stokes' competition in the slam dunk includes Duke's Dahntay Jones, Arizona State's Kyle Dodd, LSU's Ronald Dupree and Byron Parker of Tulane.
