Women: UC player honored
K.B. Sharp, who keyed UC's double-overtime win over Louisville Sunday, is Conference USA player of the week.
Sharp, a 5-9 senior point guard, scored eight of UC's 10 points in the second overtime period and finished with a career-high 31 points.
She played all 50 minutesand finished with career highs in field goals (13) and attempts (24).
She also had eight rebounds and four assists.
UC improved to 18-5 (8-2 C-USA, second place).
