Women: UC 73, Louisville 66 (2OT)



The Bearcats got a career-high 31 points from point guard K.B. Sharp en route to ending Louisville's 19-game conference home winning streak.

Sharp's 13-of-24 performance topped a game which saw both teams struggle from the floor, going a combined 53 of 152. The senior's baskets came at key moments in the double-overtime game. She tallied 10 straight points to put UC ahead 40-35 midway through the second half, then scored 8 points in the first overtime, the last two tying the game at 59.

The Bearcats (18-5, 8-2 Conference USA) then went on an 8-0 run to start the second overtime before hitting six free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

Carolyn Alexander and Debbie Merrill led UC on the boards with 10 rebounds each. Lori Nero paced Louisville (14-9, 5-5) with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
