UC women host Dayton



The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team will shoot for a seventh straight home opener win when they host Dayton at the Shoemaker Center at 5 p.m. tonight.

The Bearcats, ranked 21st in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll and 25th in the AP Top 25 poll, are coming off a 76-70 away loss to No. 19 Mississippi State.

The 1-1 Flyers are playing their third straight Conference USA opponent, after losing to St. Louis (74-54) and defeating Marquette (80-62).
