UC to sign 3 basketball players today
UC is expected to sign three players today, including Purcell Marian High School graduate Mike Pilgrim, a 6-7 forward currently attending Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H.
The other two players are preseason junior college All-Americans Robert Whaley , a 6-10 center from Barton County College in Great Bend, Kan., and Nick Williams, a 6-3 guard from Chipola College in Marianna Fla.
The three-man class has been ranked as high as third nationally by recruiting analyst Clark Francis.
