Cincinnati won its second straight Conference USA Tournament championship after defeating Marquette 2-1 at Charlotte, N.C. Senior Tianna Oliver put the Bearcats ahead on a first-half goal, and Tasha Wagner sealed the victory on a solo shot with 6:38 remaining.

The Bearcats (16-3-3) clinched an NCAA Tournament berth. The 64-team field will be announced at 4:30p.m. Monday.

"It's great to get the win and not have to worry whether or not you'll hear your name on selection day," UC coach Meridy Glenn said. "Our girls really worked hard today and won a hard-fought game."

Wagner was named the tournament's offensive most valuable player. Teammate Stacey Kyser earned defensive MVP honors. Amy Mink and Heather Herweh also were named to the all-tournament team.
