UC's Kirkland has broken jaw



        UC freshman Armein Kirkland will be limited in basketball practice for four to six weeks while he recovers from a fractured jaw.

        Kirkland, a 6-8 guard from Tyler, Texas, was injured during open workouts and underwent a dental fixation to stabilize the non-displaced fracture.

        He will be able to participate in conditioning.
