UC offers football ticket mini-packages

One could be last chance for OSU game

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Two UC football ticket mini-packages will go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday, including one that provides tickets to the Ohio State game Sept. 21 at Paul Brown Stadium.

The Red Pack sells for $106 and contains tickets for games at Nippert Stadium against TCU (Sept. 2), Ohio State, Memphis (Oct. 26) and UAB (Nov. 30).

The Black Pack costs $69 and comes with tickets for games against West Virginia (Sept. 14), Miami U. (Oct. 5) and Houston (Nov. 16).

Fewer than 4,000 tickets remain for the Ohio State game in the 65,535-seat stadium, which UC spokesman Brian McCann expects to sell out before single-game tickets are made available to the public.

“We've made tickets available to various groups as well as our season-ticket holders,” McCann said. “Before you know it, 65,000 tickets isn't that much.”

There is no set date for single-game ticket sales, McCann said.

The packages can be purchased at the ticket office in Shoemaker Center or by calling 556-2287. Online ticket sales are available at www.ucbearcats.com.

Season tickets for all seven games still remain. They cost $152 for adults and $86 for children 12 and under.
