UC coach Bob Huggins was clearly making a point to junior center Donald Little on Monday night.

Huggins was displeased enough with Little's play that he benched him for most of the game and even used senior forward Rodney Crawford to start the second half in Little's place.

“We run the floor,” Huggins said. “And we play harder.”

Little played a season-low 10 minutes and finished with no points and one rebound. He was 0-of-2 from the field shooting.

GROVE'S BACK: It was announced officially that junior center B.J. Grove has rejoined the team as a walk-on. Grove was at the Bearcats' practice Sunday watching, but he was not eligible to participate. He sat out Monday night's game — and wasn't on the team's bench — to serve a one-game Conference USA suspension and is expected to begin practicing today.

TICKETS AVAILABLE: Unclaimed student tickets for lower-arena seats are on sale ($20, $12 ages 12 and under) for next Monday night's game against Richmond. Call 556-2287.
UC WOMEN: Starting center Tamara Douglass will be part of a feature on pregnant college athletes on HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, airing today (10 p.m.), Thursday (6:30 a.m., 7 p.m.), Saturday (noon), next Monday (noon, 8 p.m.), Dec. 21 (6 p.m.) and Dec. 23 (10 a.m.). The Bearcats (5-0) play Nebraska (7-1) at 7 p.m. today at Shoemaker Center.
