The University of Cincinnati cruised to victory over St. Francis (Pa.). Debbie Merrill paced the Bearcats with 26 points, hitting 13 of her 17 field goal attempts. Valerie King and Tamara Douglass also scored in double digits, scoring 16 and 12 respectively.
UC put the game out of reach early, outscoring St. Francis 44-16 in the first half. For the game, the Bearcats shot a season-best 53 percent from the field while holding St. Francis to 33 percent in the first half. Cincinnati will play at Xavier at 2p.m. Sunday.
