North Carolina product commits to UC
By Michael Perry
The Cincinnati Enquirer
Eric Hicks, a 6-foot-7 forward from Dudley High School in Greensboro, N.C., told The Enquirer Wednesday night that he has orally committed to attend the University of Cincinnati.
I'm pretty much going to come up there, said Hicks, who visited UC last month. That's exactly what I told them.
Derrick Hicks, Eric's brother who has been helping with the recruiting process, said he talked to UC coach Bob Huggins on Wednesday .
I spoke on (Eric's) behalf, Derrick said. I called Coach Huggs early this morning and made it official.
Hicks' final choices were UC and Tennessee; he also visited Connecticut.
