UC picked 6th in C-USA football
The University of Cincinnati football team was picked to finish sixth in Conference-USA by the league's coaches.
The preseason favorite is Louisville, followed by East Carolina and Southern Miss.
UC kicker Jonathan Ruffin, running back Ray Jackson and offensive tackle Shawn Murphy (Oak Hills) have been named to conference preseason first team by the league's coaches.
Ruffin was also named preseason special-teams player of the year.
