Guidugli set to sign with UC

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Highlands High quarterback Gino Guidugli will hold a press conference today to announce he is signing a football letter-of-intent with the University of Cincinnati, sources say.

Guidugli committed to Kentucky but did not sign after Hal Mumme resigned.

Guidugli considered Notre Dame, Purdue, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Ohio State before deciding on UC.

UC can't comment on players until the Bearcats coaches have received the player's letter-of-intent.

Guidugli, 6-foot-4, 215 pounds passed for 4,367 yards with 53 TDs and only 10 interceptions as a senior.
