UC loses three football assistants

UC has lost three assistant football coaches, two to the NFL.
Mike Tomlin, UC's defensive backs coach, is the new secondary coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Larry Zierlein, UC's offensive line coach, is the new offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns.
UC defensive coordinator Rick Smith, who was prepared to take a job at Minnesota, has accepted a position at Kentucky under new coach Guy Morriss.
UC coach Rick Minter said he is already in the process of trying to replace those who have left.
