UC women 79, Saint Louis 61




        Valerie King scored 21 of her 23 points in the second half to lead the Bearcats to the Conference USA win.

        Cincinnati (13-4, 3-3) scored the game's first six points and never trailed.

        The Bearcats used a 20-2 run in the first half and a 15-0 run in the second to score the highest point total allowed by the Billikens this season. Saint Louis (11-5, 2-3) entered the game with the sixth-best scoring defense in NCAA Division I, allowing an average of just 56.1 points a game.

        K.B. Sharp had 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals for UC, and Tammy Douglass added 14 points.
