UC women 66, South Florida 52
Bearcats off to 12-2 start

Valerie King scored 14 points and the University of Cincinnati defeated South Florida 66-52 in a Conference-USA game in Tampa, Fla. Sunday.
Portia Flournoy scored 10 points and had a team-high seven rebounds while Brittani Young added a career-high 10 points for the Bearcats.
UC, which improved to 12-2, 2-1 in C-USA, shot 51 percent from the field.
KB Sharp had 10 assists, two shy of the school record, and added eight points for UC.
The Bearcats next will travel to Marquette on Friday for a 7 p.m. game.
