UC renews basketball rivalry with Dayton
Men's basketball schedule announced

The University of Cincinnati men's basketball schedule was released Wednesday, highlighted by 19 teams that appeared in the postseason.
The schedule also features key regional rivalries, including the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout against Xavier (Dec. 14) at the Shoemaker Center and a renewal of the series with Dayton. The road game, Nov. 29, will be the 83rd meeting between the teams, the second-longest rivalry for both schools.
UC also will play Notre Dame in the John Wooden Tradition, a doubleheader at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Nov. 25. Atlantic Coast Conference power Wake Forest visits Jan. 27.
The Bearcats open the regular season Nov. 18 against Boise State at the Shoe, then play host to Marshall on Nov. 21.
UC's road trips include the Las Vegas Shootout against UNLV on Nov. 16; the Puerto Rico Holiday Classic Dec. 20-22; the Rock-N-Roll Shootout in Cleveland, Dec. 30, vs. Toledo; and a Jan. 20 trip to Temple, which finished last season ranked No. 6 by the Associated Press.
A game against Tennessee fell through when the teams couldn't agree on a date.
