UC vs. Army football game moved to Sept. 4

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Army's visit to Nippert Stadium has been rescheduled for Monday, Sept.4, so the football game between the Cadets and the Cincinnati Bearcats can be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net.

The UC-Army game originally was set for Sept.2 but moving it to Labor Day means the teams will be playing the only Division I game that day. It is expected to be broadcast to 70 million homes.

Although Army joined Conference USA in 1998, it has yet to appear in Nippert Stadium. The Bearcats and Cadets played that season, when Army won 37-20. The teams did not meet in 1999.
