UC women invited to NIT

The University of Cincinnati women earned a bid to the National Invitation Tournament Sunday night.
The Bearcats will play 7 p.m. Thursday at Pittsburgh.
This will be the second meeting between the Bearcats (17-12) and the Panthers (16-12) this season. Pittsburgh's buzzer-beating 3-pointer nipped UC 58-55 Nov. 28 at the Shoe.
The UC-Pitt winner will meet the winner of the Michigan State-Villanova game.
