University of Cincinnati forward Madinah Slaise scored 32 points, but it wasn't enough as the Bearcats fell to Kentucky 68-62 at Shoemaker Center Wednesday.
Slaise, whose career high is 35 points, made 13 of 19 shots from the field and also led UC with five rebounds.
UC shot 57 percent from the field in the first half and led by as many as nine points. But the Wildcats ended the half on a 20-10 run that gave them a 37-36 lead.
The Bearcats, 5-4, will play host to Middle Tennessee State Wednesday.
