Polls agree: Bearcats No. 1
Top-ranked UC impressed the Associated Press voters with its convincing season-opening victory over Youngstown State on Saturday.
UC received 31 first-place votes, up from 25 a week ago, in Monday's new Associated Press media poll. UC also jumped from third to first in the ESPN-USA Today coaches poll.
The Bearcats hold a 52-point lead over new No. 2 Auburn in the AP poll. Auburn moved past idle Michigan State into the second spot, but much of the top 10 remained the same.
