UC's Martin, Mickeal get All-America votes
The Associated Press
UC's Kenyon Martin was second among centers in voting for The Associated Press' preseason All-America team.
The top center was junior Chris Mihm of Texas with 22 votes from a 65-member media panel. Martin received 12 votes.
UC senior forward Pete Mickeal also received votes.
The preseason All-Americans (top five vote-getters) were Auburn forward Chris Porter (53 votes), DePaul swingman Quentin Richardson (46), Ohio State point guard Scoonie Penn (44), Michigan State guard Mateen Cleaves (44) and Maryland forward Terence Morris (35).
