UC women play for C-USA title
Automatic NCAA berth at stake against Tulane
NEW ORLEANS Doris Scott and Madinah Slaise combined for 13 points in overtime as top-seeded Cincinnati defeated fourth-seeded Marquette 77-68 to reach the championship game of the Conference USA women's tournament.

Cincinnati (22-7) will meet No. 3 seed Tulane (19-10) at 8 p.m. tonight (ESPN2, 11:30 p.m.) for the automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.
Scott had seven points and Slaise six as the Bearcats outscored Marquette 17-8 in the extra period. Cincinnati made 13-of-14 free throws in the overtime and 22-of-25 overall. Marquette was just 3-of-5 on foul shots.
Slaise scored a game-high 28 points, and Scott had 25 points and 14 rebounds. Katrina Merriweather scored 11.
