UC women claim share of C-USA title




        CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cincinnati clinched a share of the Conference USA regular-season title as the Bearcats defeated UNC-Charlotte 63-55 on Friday.

        Senior center Doris Scott (Mt. Healthy) led UC with 25 points. Guard Medinah Slaise added 14 points.

        UNCC (5-19, 3-12 C-USA) was led by Nikki Richardson's 22 points.

        UC (20-6, 12-3) can clinch the C-USA title outright with a win at St. Louis on Sunday.
